Basic (Minimum) Qualifications:
6+ years of production support experience

Knowledge of Windows 2003 / 2008 server and IIS and .NET

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (or equivalent additional industry experience)
Functional Skills Required
Preferred Qualifications:
knowledge of Microsoft technology and software including Windows, IIS, SQL, ASP/ASP .NET, SharePoint 2007 / 2010

Experience working in a 24X7 environment

Knowledge of software lifecycle methodology and Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF)
A passion for customer support
Deliverables
- Thorough understanding of service management foundations such as ITIL or MOF
- Manage major incidents
- Outstanding customer service/focus and communication skills
- Collaborate across various teams within and outside the organization to drive issue resolution and best practices implementation.

- You must possess knowledge in monitoring tools and configuring them, such as MOM/SCOM/Gomez/Keynote

- You must be collaborative, details-focused, thorough, patient and persistent
- Strong communication and organization and project management skills
- Ability to manage internal and external relationships, within both IT and the Business
- Ability to stay clam through pressurized situations
- Track and report availability metrics for the responsible applications
- You must possess strong interpersonal skills, be a critical thinker, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to define and follow best practices and business processes

- A BS/MS in computer science, information systems, and engineering and/or equivalent industry experience required
