Restaurant Systems Business Analyst
Location: IL
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $45/hr on C2C.
Job Description:
Retail project experience is highly desired. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must. McD BA's typically interface with a lot of groups and handle a TON of documentation so we need someone comfortable liaising with various groups as well as excellent grammar.
Required Skills:
· PM background is not necessarily a strong asset for the role (although we don't need to rule people out who have worked as a PM), but they will be looking for a bona fide BA. With that BA experience, they'd like to see that the candidate was actually doing BA work in their last role.
· They should be at least familiar with Agile methodology.
· To add to Preferred, some experience working on user interfaces, experience in web projects / web development.
· Nice to haves would be working on Scheduling applications.
· Watch out for the resumes with vague descriptions in their recent work, if you ask them about those sections and their answers don't sound very solid, that could be a good disqualifier. Barb and I will be looking for this as well.
· MS Office concern: I'm sure this is listed as a skill on every 99% of the resumes. But we'll need to tread carefully and look for people that are truly proficient at Word and Excel. They should have the ability to enter comments, format docs, enter headers/footers, formulas, etc.
· Last but not least, the need to have a solid personality with above average facilitation skills. They will be dealing directly with our Operations Group, which is full of outspoken personalities who have come to expect a high level of performance from our BA's.
