Although they use DataStage for ETL development, they are open to considering candidates with other ETL tool experience (Informatica or Ab Initio).

Description:
The DataStage ETL Developer will be responsible for developing, and implementing ETL solutions for a multi-terabyte DB2/Unix environment using IBM DataStage 8.5.
The qualified candidate must possess the following:
• Strong SQL skills with about five years of experience in the area of ETL Development and Data Warehousing.
• Able to read & determine root causes of DataStage abends.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, managing files and Korn shell scripts. Working Knowledge of file ftp.
• ETL performance tuning and parallel processing experience is preferred
Project tasks: Complete Design Documentation; ETL Programming; Unit Test Plan with Test Results; completed DataStage Zena and Job Sequencer; Job Documentation; and Deployment Documentation for each of Constructs tasks assigned.
