Job Title	:	Senior Technical Datastage – at Customer Location
Relevant Experience (Yrs)	:	5+ Yrs in IT and 3+ Years of experience in Datastage
Necessary Skills	:	Good understanding of Datastage Designer and Director – Strong knowledge of Datastage fundamentals like ‘Server/Parallel Job’, ‘Sequence’ etc. Experience working in DataStage Designer and Director to develop and monitor the Jobs and Sequences. Experience with both the edition of Datastage (server and parallel). Extensively worked in Data Extraction, Transformation and Loading from Source to Target System using Datastage Understanding of the concept of Data Marts In-depth knowledge of different stages of Datastage like transformer, lookup, joiner etc. Good knowledge of SQL / PL SQL and Netezza compatible SQL Good knowledge of Data Warehousing fundamentals and the ability to analyze a data model– should have good understanding of facts and dimension tables and different data models. Should have thorough knowledge of unix shell scripting and different commands in unix. ·         Should have good knowledge of Autosys scheduler. Running unix script thorough autosys. ·         Good to have basic knowledge of perl scripting. Need to have good customer facing skill and strong communication skills (including English conversation skills), demonstrate excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Roles & Responsibilities	:	Participate in business requirements and interpret it into ETL design Resolving performance issues and tuning of Informatica Code Providing On call support for any batch issues Researching data issues and communicating with business users Interacting with Customer on providing day to day status on tasks and also coordinating offshore team work with Customer
Generic Managerial Skills	:	Able to co-ordinate with Offshore team in India Able to distribute work to offshore team and plan/track tasks/activities Report progress/challenges to Project Manager
Education	:	Graduate (Engineering, MCA preferred)
