Description:
Work with application teams to understand, document, define development processes, code and maintain applications in their production environment
Assist in the design of new functionality as additional requirements are identified by client. Communicates effectively with technology staff and business stakeholder
Provides status reports regularly to the internal applications manager.

Required Skills:
Considerable knowledge of systems analysis, design, debugging, testing, and maintenance techniques.
Ability to analyze operations and organize compponent parts into a logical system.
Experience developing web-based applications in modern object oriented development langues such as java, C++ and ruby on rails.
Experience with realtional database systems such oracal, MYSQL, and postgres.
Considerable experience in software lifecycle methodologies.
Experience with software code repositories such as CVS, SVN, GIT.
Recent development experience in the Ruby on Rails environment.
