Job Title

Siebel Configurator/Developer

Job Details/Description

As a Siebel Configurator/Developer you may participate in and/or be responsible for the following types of tasks associated with Siebel initiatives:

·   Process definition and design

·   Requirements definition, mapping, and gap analysis

·   Siebel application design and prototyping

·   Siebel development including: configuration, scripting, EIM development, BI Publisher development, etc.

·   Test scenario definition, script development, and execution

 

In this role you will be expected to be capable of successfully interacting with client representatives and functional team members in developing solutions that address the people, process, and technology needs of the organization.  Important to your success in this position will also be the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions.

 

Desired Skills

Individuals being considered for this position must have the following skills:

·   Superb written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills

·   Consulting/client facing background

·   Outstanding teamwork skills

·   Keen attention to detail

·   Outstanding academic achievement with a strong record of extracurricular activity and leadership

·   Demonstrated analytical and qualitative abilities

·   Strong technical foundation including; structured programming – C++, Java, etc., understanding of relational database concepts and structures, knowledge of SQL, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.

·   At least 3 – 5 years of Siebel implementation experience (7.8 or greater preferred)

·   Participation in each phase of at least two full Siebel lifecycle implementations

·   Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodologies

·   Strong Siebel configuration and scripting experience

·   Siebel Core Consultant certification (7.5 or greater)

 

In addition to the minimum requirements listed above the following additional skills would be considered nice to have:

·   Workflow Manager skills

·   Assignment Manager skills

·   EIM and/or EAI skills

·   Actuate reporting skills

·   Experience with eSales and/or eService

·   Hardware, network, database skills

·   Experience with Product Configurator, Pricing Configurator, CTI, Order Entry and Management, Sales Forecasting, Incentive Compensation.

 

Education

Bachelors and/or Masters degree ideally in a relevant major (e.g., CS, MIS, Engineering)

·   Experience with integration technologies including XML, HTTP, SOAP, Web Services, Queuing technologies

·   Siebel Core Consultant certification (7.5 or greater)
