Position: Business Systems Analyst with SAP experience

Duration: 2 years

Location :  Tallahassee, FL

 

This position will assist the CSE CAMS Enterprise Central Component Team Design, Development & Implementation (DDI) Lead in the development of CAMS requirements and design.

 

Duties include, but may not be limited to:

 

·           Assist the CSE business processes for implementing solutions in SAP

·           Provide expertise in business rule administration, assisting in the definition of business rules, evaluation of how those rules are encoded in an appropriate repository, and the ongoing maintenance of those rules

·           Coordinate system development and maintenance activities for CAMS, including but not limited to: 1) high level enterprise design, and 2) low level requirements, functional and technical specifications

·           Coordinates and participates in the review of CAMS project deliverables associated with design requirements, development, implementation, and maintenance

·           Assists in the development and critical review of appropriate work flows, forms, and design documents that describe proposed and/or implemented system functionality

·           Applies industry standard quality assurance measures and metrics to Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) artifacts

·           Assist in User Acceptance testing as needed

·           Perform Knowledge Share sessions upon request

 

The selected applicant must possess the following:

 

·           Knowledge, understanding, and/or experience with SAP products

·           Ability to generate briefing papers, issue papers, other management reports, and presentations (i.e., Power-Point), when required

·           Knowledge, understanding, and experience with data integrity, data base construction, principles of legacy system conversion, data management and data analysis and data cleansing principles and practices

·           Selected candidates shall posses "subject matter" knowledge of communications planning and execution

·           Ability to plan, organize, document, lead and facilitate meetings and follow-up activities

·           Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Project

·           Ability to conduct fact finding research

 

Activities and artifacts associated with this RFQ that may place demands for work effort on the proposed applicant also include, but may not be limited to:

·           Models related to data, processes, workflow, requirements and testing

·           Review of CAMS functional and system requirements and specifications

·           Data transfer (interface) requirements between CAMS and any other automated system or resource, including the Florida On-Line Recipient Integrated Data Access (FLORIDA) system

·           System change requests

·           Completion of deliverable review comment matrix, presentations and position papers

 

 Minimum Experience:

 

·           4 years experience in information technology with experience in business process reengineering, requirements development, and system design or 4 years experience in data base management.

 

Experience, knowledge, skills and abilities must include the following in addition :

 

·           Understanding of enterprise IT systems and architecture

·           Ability to assist in the development and analysis of requirements for the enterprise and the application of appropriate technologies in their support

·           Ability to assist in the implementation of new technology

·           Ability to perform functional analysis of SAP

·           Ability to apply system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems

·           Knowledge of data resource management principles and techniques including data administration, data modeling, entity-relationship modeling, data definition, and data dictionaries

·           Knowledge of logical or conceptual data modeling and translation to a physical model

·           Knowledge of data oriented business rule administration

·           Knowledge of methods of data collection and analysis

·           Experience in data conversion activities, including data cleansing principles and practices and data mapping

·           Ability to understand and perform development testing related tasks associated with data migration and cleansing

·           Ability to identify and resolve data flow and content issues

·           Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to improvement of operational and management practices

·           Ability to organize data into logical formats

 

Education/Certifications:

 

·         Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), or one (1) year system's experience for each year of required education.
