Duration: 6 months+
1. Good understanding of e-commerce and B2C direct marketing business processes, and prior experience with companies that have multiple million end-customers 2. Ability to communicate effectively with marketing managers to understand how data and analytics are used to a. gain deep insights into customer behavior b. pull target customer lists to support a variety of marketing programs c. measure the return on marketing investments for specific marketing programs 3. Develop presentations of solutions proposals to Business and IT Management to gain their buy-in for new projects Technical Skills: 1. 6-8 years of systems analysis experience in gathering user business requirements for Business Analytics Solutions and converting those into functional specifications documents that can be used by the off-shore systems development team. 2. Deep experience in developing conceptual/logical data models, designing reports and using data visualization for ad hoc analysis, in the context of very large and complex data structures. 3. Knowledge of tools and techniques used to ensure quality of the data to create trust among users 4. Project Management skills ? ability to plan complex projects, estimate resource requirements, and develop delivery timelines 5. Working SQL knowledge for data analysis, data preparation and other usage 6. Experience with Teradata, SAS and Business Objects for business reporting and analytics
