Sr. Java Developer with reporting BI/ETL systems experience - Boston, MA

Senior Java developer with knowledge of reporting , BI / ETL systems. We
were thinking this would be a Senior Java Developer with BI / ETL (data
integration) /Reporting project experience.
 
 
 
The spec for this position (as per prior request) is repeated below:
 
 
 
Senior Developer (Java, Reporting, ETL)
 
General Requirements - all nominees should have:
 
*         SA Tech L1
 
*         3+ years enterprise development experience in Java
 
*         1+ years with Sapient implementation projects 
 
*         1+ years as a senior developer
 
*         Must be able to demonstrate :
 
o   Strong core Java development 
 
o   Sound knowledge of Object Oriented software engineering principles
and practices
 
o   Experience of enterprise development tools & processes - source
control, continuous integration, unit testing (Junit, SVN, GIT, ANT,
Hudson, Jmeter, Eclipse)
 
o   Experience in Unix Linux, and basic knowledge of scripting
 
o   Knowledge of web application and enterprise patterns and techniques
(ideally experience of Spring, for IOC, Data Access, and MVC)
 
o   Solid verbal communication skills and ability to work in an intense
team environment
 
 
 
 
 
Reporting & ETL Track specific requirements:
 
*         Knowledge of ETL techniques / approaches / tools  
 
*         Strong database knowledge (My-SQL )
 
*         Knowledge of designing reporting databases and using report
generation tools (ideally Jasper)
 
*         Knowledge of Java APIs and frameworks for data processing
(Hadoop Map Reduce)
 
*         Ideally knowledge of other commercial BI tools (e.g. Cognos,
Microstrategy, etc)
 
 
3-6 months
