SAS Reporting Analyst
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Project Length: 3 months with possible extension
Rate:50 hr on corp to corp
Interview Process: Probably phone to hire – but please be prepared for a F2F request just in case.
The SAS Reporting Analyst functions within the National Reporting and Revenue Assurance team providing analysis and services to end users in the business units. This role works closely with finance, operations, and engineering business users to define business requirements, convert business requirements into technical requirements, and leverage enterprise-level reporting tools to develop and deploy reporting solutions.
Functions/Responsibilities:
• Work with end user community to define report requirements and success criteria
• Develop standard and ad hoc reports using a variety of our client's internal systems
• Integrate data from multiple external sources into unified reports
• Perform data analysis and work with key stakeholders to troubleshoot issues
• Support testing and validation of new/updated reporting systems
• Develop working knowledge of existing SAS reports; maintain/administer current reporting processes
• Provide input into development of reporting data warehouse
• Develop reporting packages using SAS, SQL, and Excel
Minimum Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Science or other technical discipline
Job Skills:
• Minimum 3 yrs experience using tools to extract data across multiple systems
• 3+ years experience with SAS, including constructing SAS queries
• 3+ years experience with SQL Server and Oracle
• High-level of proficiency in the advanced features of Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with database and reporting tools (e.g., TOAD, Hyperion, Cognos, SAS, Microsoft Reporting Services)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work within all levels of the organization
• Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred
• Experience working in a data warehouse environment preferred
• Experience in consulting and/or public accounting preferred
