- The manager is looking for a MQ Series Administrator/developer. She needs someone with a strong background on MQ administration & development with some exposure to architecture including designing a new infrastructure (clustering, HA.), installing, configuring and supporting MQ. They also need a developer background as the individual will also need to assist the development teams with MQ configuration. Their background should also include architecture/support of the distributed environment. Mainframe expertise is an added bonus along with MQFTE (File Transfer Edition http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg247760.html). Good communication skills are needed as they will be working across multiple teamsThey have multiple versions of MQ running, v 5, v6 and some v7.
