Job Title : Senior Unix/Linux Systems Administrator

Location: San Jose, CA
Interview: Phone Hire

Duration: 6+ Month

 

Job Description:

• Minimum 6 years Linux/Unix Systems Administration experience
• Current expertise in Solaris 8, 9, 10 (older versions are a plus), Centos 5, Redhat 4 and 5, NetApp, storage area network (SAN) environment, Netbackup Enterprise 6.5, DNS, NIS, LDAP, Directory Server 5.2
• Proficiency with common Unix System administration tools
• Solid understanding of VMware ESX (3.5-5.0) in a blade center environment
• Broad knowledge of common applications and technologies in Internet computing (web servers, proxies, load balancers, databases, appliances, client/server, etc)
• Proven troubleshooting skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to autonomously manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Solid scripting skills including (bsh, perl, ksh, etc)
• Monitoring software (SiteScope and Cacti)
• Collaborative team-player with a positive, can-do attitude
• One year experience with Cisco network a plus
• One year Windows System Administration a plus
