The Job Description is as follows:

Oracle Application Admin(L2)-Understanding of Database Architecture Concepts  Awareness on Application DBA Basics  Ability to understand Basic DB Administration  Ability to understand DB Administration Tools  Working Knowledge of database specific data movement tools  Strong knowledge in Database Architecture  Able to Implement Application DBA Skills (Like Application/ Development Support Admin)  Working knowledge onDB Administration using Tools (OEM)  Ability to understand Database Upgrade Ability to understand Database Migration Process

 

PL-SQL(L3)-Database Programming Basics:  Ability to understand and implement Declaring Variables, Executable Statements, Control Structures, Composite Data Types, Explicit Cursors, Handling Exceptions, Creating Procedures, Creating Functions, Creating Database Triggers  Adv Database Programming:  Ability to understand and implement Collections, Multilevel collections, Ref Cursors, Bulk Processing,Bulk Bind and Bulk Collect, DBMS_OUTPUT, UTL_FILE, Performance aspects inPL./SQL  Adv Database Programming:  Ability to understand and implement Advanced Explicit Cursors, Managing Subprograms, Creating Packages, Oracle Supplied Packages, Adv. Triggers, Managing Dependencies  SQL Developer Tool for Database Programming  Tools Level 1 Usage  Adv Database Programming:  Ability to TunePL/SQL Applications for Performance, Using PL/SQL With Object Types, Performing SQL Operations with Native Dynamic SQL  Understanding of Database Migration Process:   Understanding of Database Upgrade: 

 

DB Modeling(L1)-RDBMS -  Exposure to Basic Relational Database Concepts - basic types of databases, data integrity, the relational model, etc  Ability to understand basics of DB Design , Logical modeling , Normalization &  De-Normalization Techniques  Working knowledge of DB Design/Modeling techniques(Logical and Physical DB modeling)  Ability to understaning of Conceptual Model  Adv knowledge of Logical &  Physical modeling  Knowledge of one Modeling Tool (Like ERWin, ER Studio, Visio, Power Designer, SELECT etc)  Implementation Experience of Logical &  Physical Database Modeling for Small / Medium Application Databases.
