BA/PM role in Bay Area, CA

I need PM/BA for this position local to bay area and with crispy excellent voice.

Position: Business Analyst Web Systems

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Duration: 6 month contract (plus extensions)

 

Local candidates preferred. There will be a face to face interview for this position.


Job Description:

 

Major Responsibilities

· Assists users to maximize the benefit from use of web functionality.

· Assists with project coordination, tracking, implementation, development, training and support.

· Consults with business staff to develop understanding of the varied business needs. Interacts with all IT management and staff.

· Coordinates appropriate testing and quality in the development or enhancement of web solutions.

· Understands the role of the web in the big picture (corporate vision) and provides ideas and recommendations regarding its evolution.

· Responds to questions and influences employees regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs.

· Conducts continuous research and analysis into the nature, effect and results of current and potential system problems.

· Conducts continuous research and analysis into possible business solutions through web technology.

· Project Management of the development and testing phases of the project.

 

Position Requirements

 

· Minimum requirement of 5 years experience with business operations, project management and systems development, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

· High level of computer literacy with web technology and usability standards, spreadsheets, word processing and database software.

· Project Management Experience in an Agile Development environment.

· Good understanding of application development, quality assurance and testing technologies and processes.

· Well developed oral, written and listening communication skills; analytical and negotiation skills, including attention to detail.

· Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate, and organize.

· Excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills.

· Knowledge of the Multi-level marketing industry a plus

· Ability to learn on the fly - Learns quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiments and will try anything to find solutions; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure.

· Organizing - Can marshal resources (people, funding, material, and support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently; arranges information in a useful manner.

· Problem Solving - Solves difficult problems with effective solutions; asks good questions and probes all fruitful sources for answers; can see underlying or hidden problems and patterns; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers.
