Position Title: UI Developer/Designer - 12-00396

Project Location: Jersey City, NJ

Contract Duration: 6 Months

 

Mandatory Technical/Functional Skills:

 

1.       HTML

2.       CSS

3.       JavaScript

4.       JQuery

 

·         Basic Requirements:

1.       4+ years experience with server side object oriented (OO) programming (JAVA or .NET [C#])

2.       Expert level skills in HTML 4/CSS 2/jQuery

3.       Uses jQuery UI/jQuery Tools or other major jQuery plugins

4.       Hands on experience with DOM, W3C Standards, Browser Standards

5.       AJAX and JSON against web services (SOAP/RESTful)

6.       Client side debugging using Firebug, Chrome Web Developer, Fiddler, and etc.

7.       Basic image manipulation in Photoshop/Illustrator

8.       An eye for design, balance, and color

9.       UX experience and ability to defend designs

10.   Good communication skills

11.   Ability to collaborate in a team

12.   Someone who takes initiative instead of waiting for work to be assigned.

13.   Someone who participates in discussions and who isn't afraid to have and state opinions.

 

Education Level Required:

 

Engineering Graduate Or Relevant Experience
