Requirement for Web Developer

Location: Culver City, CA

Duration : 6-12 months

 

 

They are wanting someone with expert level JavaScript and Jquery Experience.

 

They will need the following:

JavaScript

Jquery

HTML

CSS

SQL

Node.js

 

 

Job Description: The Web Developer will be a key participant in the design, development and delivery of mission-critical Web applications.

 

We are looking for a motivated, well-rounded and hands-on individual who can work in a fast-paced environment.

 

Core responsibilities will be to produce and maintain clean, high quality, standards compliant code.

 

Develop code that is cross-browser/cross-platform UI compatible and troubleshoot associated issues.

 

Assist with planning and development of rich user interface for new web-based applications in accordance with the design specifications, user interface style guides and established usability standards.

 

Work with other members of the development Team to ensure successful implementation and integration of presentation tier with other tiers in multi-tier web-based applications.

 

Implementation and integration of presentation tier with other tiers in multi-tier web-based applications.

 

Maintain cutting edge knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards, modern web browser capabilities, compatibility issues, W3C standards compliance and accessibility issues.

 

 

 

Skills Required:

 

Excellent programming, code development, debugging, testing and troubleshooting skills.

 

Expert hands-on knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX as well as other web development/production tools.

 

Advanced knowledge of JavaScript libraries like Prototype, jQuery or Script.aculo.us.

 

Experience with JSP's and XML/XSLT.

 

Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle) and working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS tools and utilities is nice to have.

 

Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people

 

Skills Preferred but Not Required:

 

Worked in J2EE application

 

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 5
