The Network Architect Consultant will:

 

• Responsible for Firewall Rule Changes for the DMZ and internal interfaces to allow HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, and LDAP traffic to the internal servers
• Design and deployment of VLANS required for DAG replication network and MAPI network considerations
• Design and deployment of Load Balancers that will be used on the internal network for Load Balancing of the internal CAS servers at the 8 internal sites
• Provide environment support for all network changes and hardware load balancers during test and the first few weeks of mailbox moves
• Assist with addressing the ExRAP reports assessment regarding GC capacity and eliminate network latency as the issue
• Design and configure GSLB (Global Services Load Balancing) on External load-balancers in PLSN and SEDC (new functionality)
• Support effort to design and configure Exchange2010 publishing (OWA, OA, and ActiveSync) with AAA SSO (Single Sign On) authentication against internal AD on the External load-balancers in PLSN and SEDC (new functionality)

Skills Required . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Solid communication skills, ability to work in a team environment a must. Experience with configuring Cisco Firewalls and Citrix Netscape. Also experience with Exchange 2010 a plus.
