Required Skills
High degree of familiarity and comfort working in the Unix command line environment including:
     - running scripts from command line
     - monitoring log files
     - searching and expressions
     - reading shell scripts such as ksh, csh, bash
Experience testing complex interfaces and systems with formal and informal test cases
Experience with highly technical, highly integrated solutions involving multiple technologies

Must Have--High degree of initiative and a confident self-starter

Job Description:
A BSA with testing experience is required to test batch processing for two projects and one major support enhancement for the Paragon F&P system.  This position will run through 5 different batch workflows, in three environments, using Unix (Solaris), Redwood Cronacle, and other technical tools. 

The individual will need to have troubleshooting skills to determine if deep support is required.  The tester will need to be able to work independently, with support from a Project Manager who has deep technical knowledge of the applications.
Working with the Project Manager, Business Users, and other Subject Matter Experts, the Tester will:
- Run job tasks using Unix scripting and command line interfaces
- Run job chains and individual scripts using Redwood Cronacle scheduling tool
- Monitor job results
- Troubleshoot basic failures to determine if deep support from other SMEs is required.
- Work with SME's to resolve and/or document failures

 

Desired
--Experience with i2/JDA planning software
--Experience with Redwood Cronacle scheduler a plus
--Experience with Informatica ETL tools a plus
--Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
