Job title: Oracle Apps Financial Functional LEAD
Location : Seattle , WA
Duration : 12 months
*Responsibilities & duties (Mandatory)
Responsibility [Finance: GL & Inter-company]–
- Understand and represent the complexities and inter dependencies of the Oracle Financials business processes across core financial modules.
- Design and Build complex Inter-company processes.
- Drive Inter-company solution and functional designs
- Lead and document business requirements, fit/gap analysis and functional design.
- Assess impacts of system changes and ensure effective delivery of application functionality and integration.
- Design and build specifications appropriate to business objectives.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve current procedures and processes.
- Design and develop operational workflows, including the development and execution of roll out strategies, cut-over/transition plans, end-user training and support, and end-user documentation.
- Provide support to our Oracle Financials user community by addressing functional anomalies, and end user questions/ issues.
- Empower end-users through instruction and functional knowledge transfer.
- Coordinate integration testing, neighbour testing, end to end testing with upstream systems
- Issue resolution, testing, and coordination with business and IT users.
- Configure Oracle Apps system for GL, FA, AGIS
*Project Description (Mandatory)
Project Description – R12 EBS Implementation – Modules in scope, GL,FA, AR, AP, Payments, OM, Advance Collection, Cash Management, AME, Open Source SOA (WS01)
*Work experience & skills (Mandatory)
Essential (including minimum exp. required for each skills) Desirable
- 10+ years’ experience implementing and supporting Oracle Financials required, (R12 must) in a complex, multinational, multi GAAP environment
- 3-5 full life-cycle Oracle implementations
- Functional expertise in the following areas in order of preference: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, AR,AP across knowledge of financials modules
- Strong Experience in working across financials modules
- Experience in intern company solutions and design - e.g. onshore/offshore experience
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills
- Strong coordination skill
- Ability to serve as the internal application consultant and champion to our business process owners.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, terminology methods and accounting processes.
- Effective leadership and communication skills - including the ability to articulate progress, issues and recommendations in a concise manner to all levels of the organization.
