We are looking for Technical Architect (Windows) – Multiple Locations - Cary, NC and Atlanta, GA –  6 – 12 Months Contract Position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Strong knowledge on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 & Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 including Active Directory.

·         Should have good knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing, Network Load Balancing

·         Should have worked with Windows Resource Kit/Support tools/Sys internal Tools

·         Expertise in WINS, DNS, DHCP & TCP/IP protocol suite and command line utilities

·         Should have worked with OEM hardware (IBM/HP), & remote connectivity tools

·         Should have worked with more than one patching & antivirus tools

·         Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system registry to support installed applications and document configuration changes.

·         Monitor the network link between the sites and DCs & Review the Active Directory response time reports.

·         Troubleshoot Replication/KDC Issues

·         Review the domain controller disk space reports, Review all performance related reports.

·         Ability to Modify/Extend Active Directory schema.

·         Adjust performance counter thresholds or disable rules that are not applicable to the environment or that generate irrelevant alerts.

·         Resolve alerts indicating the following services are not running: FRS, Net Logon, KDC, W32Time, and ISMSERV.

·         Expertise in Microsoft Cluster services.

·         Experience in at least one backup tool – BackupExec /Netbackup /Arc serve/ Legato.

·         Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 and Win2K8 Servers

·         Design & Implementation of Active Directory.

·         Experience on Domain Migration and Consolidation using tools like (ADMT, Quest Migration Suites)

·         L3 Active Directory / Windows OS ( 2003 / 2008 ) / Group Policy / Terminal Server / IIS / FTP / DFS/

·         Working knowledge of Imaging Solutions like (WAIK/WDS/Altiris/ Achronis)

·         Working knowledge of Remote services like (RADIUS/TS Gateway, VPN Server)

·         Excellent Knowledge of RAID, Disk and Related utilities.

·         Knowledge of  MPIO/SCSI/ISCSI/Fiber

·         Working Knowledge of Hyper-V and SCVMM.

·         Knowledge of Scripting using (Power shell, Visual Basic, WMI)

·         Ability to perform RCA (Root cause Analysis)

·         Ability to optimize given solutions

·         Hardware : Hands on Servers ( HP/DELL/HP/IBM)

·         Good hands on experience on Microsoft HyperV
