Job Description:

 

MUST HAVES:

 

1. Install SharePoint 2010

2. Troubleshooting capabilities in multi-server SharePoint farm 3. Client focus 4. Ability to manage multiple tasks

 

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

 

• SharePoint 2007 to 2010 Migrations

 

• SharePoint 2007, and 2010 multi-server installation, configuration, and central administration

 

• Participate in Tier III on call rotation (24x7)

 

• Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring for global tiered support personnel

 

• Work with business users to educate and help administer SharePoint solutions

 

• Provide Tier III support

 

• Document Processes for end user FAQ's

 

• SharePoint project requirements and analysis

 

• Work with clients to prototype solutions

 

• Design and construction of SharePoint solutions

 

• Support operations for SharePoint sites in the production environment

 

• Plan and develop portal technologies within the clients' environments

 

• Monitor portal usage including access, load and usability issues on a daily basis

 

• Plan and implement of disaster recovery strategies

 

• Train clients technical staff and user communities

 

• Maintain and support the corporate web server and software tools

 

SKILLS:

 

Specific skills required to successfully support a SharePoint 2007 Shared Services Organization:

 

• 4 + Years Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, and 2010; Windows SharePoint Services 2007 and 2010 expertise

 

• Solid experience with Central Administration and all of the pieces—- search, Excel services, business data catalog, back-up, et cetera

 

• Solid SharePoint front end experience

 

• Solid documentation experience

 

• Very strong written and verbal communication skills

 

• A "Can-do!" attitude and the willingness and skills to take on a task, own it, and see it through to completion

 

• Experience in full software life-cycle

 

• Experience working in project teams of five or more people

 

• Possesses an understanding in the areas of application architecture, database and system design

 

• 2+ Years experience working with business process owners to identify technology solutions that meet the needs of the client.

 

• 2+ Years developing disaster recovery plans for highly available environments.

 

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms and Office applications (including Visio & Project).

 

• Proficient with TCP/IP and IT related applications such as WINS, DNS and TELNET.

 

• Excellent research skills

 

• Client Training Skills

 

• Quest WebParts and Nintex Workflow training and support

 

 

 

Additional Beneficial Skills:

 

• Windows 2000, XP, NT (Applications and Utilities).

 

• General Understanding of SAN technology

 

• General Understanding of MS SQL

 

• General Understanding of MS Exchange

 

• General Understanding of Networking technology

 

• General Understanding of Information Architecture and Taxonomy Strategies

 

• SharePoint 2010

 

• Project Server 2010

 

• Nintex Workflow, Quest WebParts, ShareVis Forms and Web Trends
