Hot Job Req: Oracle Retek Consultant- Location - Louisville, KY- 6 - 12 Months Contract Position

We are looking for Oracle Retek Consultant– Location – Louisville, KY– 6 - 12 Months Contract Position.

Roles and Responsibilities

·         Responsible for managing the Logistics and Distribution tower.

·         Responsible for all Application / Production support issues in that tower.

·         Responsible for enhancements in this tower.

·         Will be responsible for documenting solutions for all issues, build up KEDB and prepare Root cause analysis for issues reported.

·         Should be able to act as the Incident Manager on the Bridges opened for all Sev 1 issues . Should be able to lead the call, provide updates and solutions.

·         Should be able to educate the other team members and train them on Logistics and Distribution domain knowledge and get them up to speed.

·         Should be able to work in an Offshore – Onsite model and be open to take calls with Offshore considering the time zone differences.

 

Skill Sets

·         Sound Knowledge on Logistics and Distribution domain. They use Retek Distribution Management here so prior experience in RDM package is an added advantage.

·         Sound Knowledge on Oracle forms and Report, PL/SQL and Oracle 9I. Having knowledge on Power Builder is an added advantage.

·         Good Written and communication skill sets. Needs to be able to articulate solutions on issues to the IT and Business effectively and also develop a good rapport with the Business.

·         Need to have good Problem solving ability and acumen. Needs to be able to think out of the box and come up with alternative suggestions.
