We require experienced consultant who has extensive knowledge of Middleware, SAP Process Integration (SAP XI/PI) and Informatica. This is the support project which requires the knowledge of both the Middleware which integrates with SAP as well as non SAP/legacy systems.

Candidate needs to act in the capacity of onsite coordinator to manage the offshore team for daily monitoring of these systems and resolving the issues in production environment on timely basis. Candidate needs to handle the development of new or any changes in the existing interface and also any maintenance, upgrade or migration involved for the systems in co-ordination with other teams. Providing the solution and strategy to implement the Integration vision for various suppliers and planning to roll out a template of implemented messages to various suppliers. Should be a self starter and be able to interface with senior Leadership team and business SME's.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of Messages and Queues
  • Error Handling/Troubleshooting daily issues and notifications to the Business
  • Analysis of existing interfaces
  • Mapping and configuration for new messages with SAP, Non-SAP, Legacy systems, Database etc.
  • Interface customization and Design
  • Should be able to produce Technical documents (TS, UT) from Functional/Design documents
  • Should be able to lead small cross functional teams to ensure delivery and effectively coordinate between onsite and offshore.
  • End to end integration testing interfaces
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP, SAP CRM for Procurement Scenarios

Qualifications

 

Required Experience:

  • Overall 3-5 years of SAP XI/PI Experience
  • Atleast 1 Year of experience with Informatica
  • Knowledge of working in all Informatica tools (Repository, Designer, Workflow Manager, Monitor)
  • Atleast two E2E implementation
  • Experience with latest SAP PI version 7.1 will be appreciated
  • Hands on experience creating Enterprise Services Repository (ESR) objects like Data Types, Message Types, Message Mappings (Graphical, Java, XSLT, ABAP), BPM, UDF
  • Hands on experience configuring Integration Directory (ID) objects receiver agreements, determination (standard and enhanced), Interface determination(standard and enhanced), channel configurations
  • Hands on experience on Runtime Workbench(Message Monitoring, End to End Monitoring, Alert Configurations, Cache Monitoring)
  • Hands on experience in configuring of Adapters like IDOC, HTTP, XI, RFC, FILE, JDBC, SOAP, Mail, WS and JMS
  • Must have good knowledge on ALE/IDOCS
  • Knowledge of Sales/Marketing/Finance business processes
  • Understanding of SAP functional knowledge of ECC modules like MM, PP, and APO would be an added plus
  • Excellent team player and very good communication skills

 

Other Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of the software development life-cycle
  • Knowledge of XML, Creating and validating schema documents
  • Specific experience leveraging Seeburger with SAP PI would be considered a big plus
  • Should have used ABAP Proxy Programming in both asynchronous and synchronous mode
