Tools Developer (1 Position in Scottsdale, AZ)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Open

 

We are  assisting our client, located in Scottsdale, AZ, with their search for a developer to join their data center infrastructure team to assist in the creation of custom tools that will monitor internal systems and applications.   This candidate will be responsible for the development of solutions that monitor and report the health of the client Infrastructure and applications. This candidate must have experience in hands-on implementation of tools for large scale, real-time web environments. 

 

Job responsibilities include

 

Translating customer requirements into technically standardized solutions

Participation in the development and periodic upgrades to monitoring tools

Ongoing corrective and preventative maintenance to improve tools reliability and availability

Experience in the implementation of monitoring solutions is a plus.

Knowledge of SNMP and other monitoring standards is a plus.

Knowledge of Linux is a must.

The candidate must have at least 5 years of C, C++ and Perl OR Java development experience 

BS in computer science or equivalent is a plus
