Description of Assignment:-
Technical expertise responsible for the development of SharePoint applications and system interfaces to meet customer requirements. Individual will be working with a team of 5+ people under the direction of a Team Lead and Senior Project Manager. The team focus is delivering solutions based on MOSS 2007, largely workflow based, to meet business needs.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Drive projects through to completion playing a direct role in defining requirements and solution direction, development, testing, and deployment of SharePoint applications and interfaces
· Ensure timely delivery toward goals and objectives
· Write clear, concise technical documentation to communicate with customers, the technical project team and the service operations teams
· Ensure adequate training documentation is correct and available for end users of SharePoint applications
Specific Job Characteristics:-
Person will work with a team of experienced SharePoint developers /business resources and will need the ability to articulate solutions/ideas to business and team members as well as make architectural decisions at the application level.
Good Software Engineering skills:-
Solid functional and technical knowledge of Sharepoint (MOSS 2007) environment in combination with excellent programming skills and experience in .NET and/or Visual Studio.
The candidate must have proven experience in developing MOSS 2007 applications including workflow, InfoPath Forms Services, Reporting Services, BDC, and Excel Services.
Knowledge and Experience:-
• 5 to 10 years experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and MOSS technologies including web part development, site definitions and master pages.
• 3 years or more experience developing with MS InfoPath forms including InfoPath 2003 – 2007.
• Experience with creating business applications using SharePoint 2010
• 6 or more years experience with the .NET Framework including .NET 3.0 to 4.0 (C# Preferred)
• 2- years experience with WCF, SQL
• Experience creating site definitions as well as configuring and customizing SharePoint sites
• Experience deploying features as SharePoint Solutions.
• Experience with CSS, JavaScript and HTML.
• Experience reading and implementing architecture specs or business requirements’.
• Experience with connecting SharePoint to a variety of business systems.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Experience with ASP.NET Security, including Forms Authentication using SQL and Active Directory providers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Management Skills:-
Seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint developer with a solid background in building scalable, high-quality and high-performance SharePoint sites. As a Senior SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal or external facing SharePoint sites.
