Urgent Requirements for ETL/BI - KY

Thru a prime vendor

 

Location: Erlanger, KY

Duration: 6 months + (potential for multi year)

 

This is not a development position, although some development work may be required.  It is expected that the candidate has a strong data analysis and data architecture skillsets.  BI and ETL development background is a plus.

 

The work experience requirements are listed in order of importanance:

§        Expertise with business intelligence foundational technology (ETL, BI tools, MDM)

             Oracle BI, Oracle DB, and Informatica knowledge required

§        Experience with multiple database types including DB2, Oracle, SQLServer.

§        Experience with ERP systems and ERP data models.

§        Expertise creating data models, data flow diagrams and system context diagrams.

§        Expertise with UML and Design Patterns.

§        Strong leadership, interpersonal communication and documentation skills (verbal and written).

§        Creative thinking for providing innovative solutions.

§        Self Starter. This person needs to be able to identify opportunities for value on their own.

§        Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Project, Visio, Power Point, Word).

§        Experience in other technologies is a plus.

§        Education – Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field

§        Experience – Minimum 5-7 years in data analyst / data architecture roles

 

Additional Requirements:

Other than standard guidelines, procedures and assignments, little direction may be given. The candidate should be able to manage their time and assignments. Thoroughness in completing tasks is imperative.  The candidate will be interacting with the rest of the Information Systems team,        receiving instructions and sharing information, but will also be in contact with other groups coordinating changes and understanding requirements.
