Incident and Problem Management Role Responsibility:

 

This role is a combination of a technical specialist and project manager.

 

From an Incident Manager perspective: They are the owner of any major business incidents and their responsibility is to manage technology teams on a command bridge to resolve the incident as quickly as possible.

 

They also provide the communication of the incident to leadership.

 

This role is part of a team coverage that will require weekend work as part of a schedule.

 

Current work schedule entails 12 hour days with a goal of 40 hours a week.

 

From a Problem Manager perspective:

 

They are the owner of problem tickets that are generated from incident tickets. They manage teams that are assigned tasks within the problem and they manage teams that are assigned tasks within the problem ticket to make sure problem tickets are being addressed.

 

They also provide status and detail communication of the problem to leadership, make sure problem tickets are being addressed.

Must be Certified in ITIL

Technical Specialist and Project Manager skill set who is self-driven and able to manage small and large teams in a critical scenario.

 

Must have the ability to communicate to Accenture and Best Buy Executives with clear, concise English Language communication skills.
