Brief Summary:

·        Six plus (6+) years of IT experience in System analysis, design and development in Data Warehousing applications using Informatica Power Center, Informatica Power Mart, Power Connect, Power Exchange for Investment, Health Insurance & Retail Banking, Pharmacy.

·        Strong Knowledge in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as Design, development, testing, Migrating, Administrating, security management and production supporting on various platforms like UNIX and Windows.

·        Exposure in Data Modeling using Star/Snowflake Schema Design, Data Marts, Relational and Dimensional Data Modeling, Fact and Dimensional tables, Physical and Logical data modeling using Erwin.

·        Expertise in OLTP/OLAP system study, Analysis and developing.

·        Complete understanding of Ralph-Kimball and Bill Inmon approaches to Data Warehousing.

·        Proficient in the design & development of process required to Extract, Transform & Load the data into a Data warehouse.

·        Good understanding and ability to define and capture metadata, business rules associated with the ETL processes and extracting complex reports from the Data Warehouse using BI tools.

·        Experienced in Installation, Configuration of Informatica Power Center/Power Mart Client, Server.

·        Perform and participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle including, requirements definition, solution design, and development.

·        Experience in working with Admin console and Repository manager.

·        Extensively worked on Informatica Designer Components – Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Transformation Developer, Mapplet and Mapping Designer.

·        Extensive experience in error handling and problem fixing in Informatica.

·        Strong experience in developing Workflows, Worklets, sessions and tasks to effectively manage the Load.

·        Hands on Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M and Autosys jobs.

·        Extensive experience working with IDE (Informatica data explorer) and IDQ (Informatica data quality) for Data Profiling and integration with Informatica platform.

·        Excellent knowledge in identifying performance bottlenecks and tuning the Informatica Load for better performance and efficiency.

·        Hands on experience with Complex mappings from varied transformation logics like Connected and Unconnected Lookups, Router, Filter, Aggregator, Joiner, Update Strategy and Re-Usable transformations.

·        Hands on Experience with Microsoft Team foundation server, effectively managed software development projects throughout the IT lifecycle.(MTFS).

·        Designed & developed systems to consolidate data from various source systems, facts and attributes to load into target databases implementing SCD Type I & II models for the projects.

·        Experience in Integration of various data sources like, SQL Server 2005/2008, Oracle 10g/11g

·        into a staging area and processing them to the Warehouse.

·        Excellent Team player with strong Analytical and Logical skills, Good communications skills.
