Mobile Application Developer

Location: Washington DC

Duration: 11 months

 

Responsibilities:

- Technical Design and development of Mobile applications for multiple devices.

- Implement multi device application features as part of Agile Development process.

- Capable of working with Product Development team for rapid prototyping and interface designing.

 

Successful candidates will have expertise in the following skillsets:

- Experience designing and developing Mobile Applications using Native and Web Technologies.

- Strong hands on experience in HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery and other Mobile Web technologies.

- Strong hands on experience with either Android or iOS. 

- Experience creating and consuming SOAP based or JSON/REST web services and communicating with systems.

- Experience working with a source control like ClearCase.

- Familiar with Agile methodologies, like Scrum

- Understanding and appreciation for Agile development methodologies

- Passion for software development and OO Design

 

Basic Qualifications:

- Associate's Degree

- 3+ years experience designing and developing Mobile Applications using Native and Web Technologies.

- 3+ years experience in HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery and other Mobile Web technologies.

- 7+ years Java experience designing and developing enterprise applications

- Previous Mobile development experience in a professional environment is preferred. Experience with multiple mobile platforms is highly preferred

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar degree

- Extensive experience with following: Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, Tomcat, JBoss, Ant, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JSP

- Experience creating and consuming SOAP based or JSON/REST web services and communicating with systems.

- Experience working with a source control like ClearCase.

- Familiar with Agile methodologies, like Scrum

- Understanding and appreciation for Agile development methodologies

- Passion for software development and OO Design
