Job Description
As Senior Database Developer, you'll be working with MySQL database technology to design, build and maintain different components / subsystems Open Source technology department. The Senior Database Developer will serve as individual contributor on the business requirements for these systems. You will participate in every stage of the project lifecycle -- gather requirements, design, develop and test. A wide degree of knowledge, creativity and efficiency is expected.
Skills/Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience designing and building systems for high traffic and transaction volumes
• Excellent knowledge of at least one major DBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL*Server): database performance tuning, administration, data modeling and development
• Ability to work with business users, product managers, QA, Release, UI and Platform Engineering teams to develop e-commerce applications
• Excellent communications skills
Preferred:
• Experience with the Catalog, Content and Order Management Systems.
• Experience in MySQL Database technology.
• Shell scripting
