Sr Java developer(GWT)
Location: NY
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
A part of CIO Advisory group within Products Services & Industries vertical
Responsibilities:
· Manage off-shore resources on Tool and SOA services support
· Participate on full-phase project governance including Architecture, design and code reviews
· Conduct POC's on leading technologies
· Troubleshoot technical issues encountered by application developers
· Hands-on coding of common library components and various business applications
Skills:
· 3+ years experience in developing and designing Google Web Toolkit (GWT) based applications
· Excellent communication skills
· Proven experience in managing offshore teams
· 8 + years deep experience with:
o Technology R&D
o Large-scale application development
o Java/J2EE
o Spring/Hibernate SQL/Oracle
o Linux/Unix
· 5 + years experience with:
o Enterprise Architecture/Application Architecture
o Source Code Control Systems and Configuration Management Systems (CVS, Subversion, Git)
o Application Servers (WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat)
o Design/UML
o Design Patterns
o Design
o Architecture and Code reviews of large systems
· 4 + years strong knowledge of:
o Messaging Technologies
o Integration Technologies
o Profiling/Performance tuning
o ETL/Data Synchronization
· 3 + years Hands on experience with:
o Clustering/Caching
o Continuous Integration
o Unit/Integration/Load/Performance Testing
· 3 + years direct experience with:
o SOA/BPM
o WebServices/SOAP/REST/JSON
o Rich Web GUI/AJAX/JavaScript (and frameworks)/Flash-Flex
o Traditional Web Frameworks like Struts, JSF, Swing GUI, Maven
o Lucene/Compass/Hibernate Search
· 2 + years strong familiarity with:
o Emerging Languages (Scala, Ruby, Clojure)
o Spring Web Flow/Seam
o OSGI
o Cloud Apps/Hadoop/MapReduce/Grid Computing
· Broadcast Engineering and Video Technology experience a big plus
