Position: Java Developer/JIRA
Location: NYC
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
JIRA platform to streamline workflow for project management,
collecting requirements, tracking status of projects, bugs,
enhancements that match the unique workflows of our organization.
Scope of position:The global business and financial platform for
market-moving news, financial applications, and market data is looking
for skilled Java developers build the next generation end-to-end
solution for project management of large scale projects scaling to
tens of thousands of man days. Excellent candidates will have a track
record of entrepreneurial thinking, focus on execution and analytical
thinking. Candidates will have the opportunity to use existing skills
and develop new ones while working with a highly experienced,
innovative team and company. ***MUST HAVE: Front end Java Development
Experience and Strong Analytical skills Skill set required:Ÿ 3-5
years of experience writing Java applications in the context of large
scale software development. Ÿ Experience with writing plugins for
JIRA would be a huge plus.Ÿ The work involved will be to take an
existing JIRA implementation and turn it around into a platform with
alerting capabilities that is easy to use which enforces rules of
engagement and meets critical needs of the organization.Ÿ Added bonus
if the candidate has some SQL database experience.
