Role: Sr Java Developer (Backend) who has strong working experience with WEB 2.0 is the Key  

Location: Fremont, CA

Duration: 9 – 12 months

 

Consultants should be local to California.

 

 

Responsibilities:

· Design and implement large-scale enterprise software applications for managing Telecommunications and Data-communications products and devices

· Apply latest Object-Oriented methodologies, Java, J2EE, XML technologies, and DBMSs

· Architect, develop, maintain and integrate various enterprise server modules

· Work through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with product marketing, engineering, and testing teams

· Write and maintain software functional specifications, design and integration documents

· Fix daily defects and support issues arising from customer sites

Requirements:

· 5+ years experience of Strong Object-Oriented Design and Methodologies.

· 5+ years J2EE technologies including JSP, Servlets, JMS, XML, JDBC, etc.

·5+ years experience of RDBMS (preferable Oracle) and Object-Relational Mapping

· Excellent analytical and integration skills.

· Proficient in Client/Server programming in a multi-thread/multi-process environment.

· Excellent communication and multitasking skills · BSCS (or equivalent) required, MSCS preferred.

Desired:

· Telecom background (Access/Transport)

· Network Management/FCAPS

· Experience with Enterprise application clustering

· Hands-on experience with AppServers: JBoss/WebLogic/WebSphere.

· Experience with various security protocols/architecture (SSL, PKI, JAAS and etc)

· In-depth understanding/experience with Design Patterns.

· TL1, SNMP

· User Interface Design (SWING/Web2.0) EOE
