Job Description:
Required Skill Sets :
· Experience with servers, network and security equipment, physical installation, Rack/Stack, troubleshooting and support.
· Experienced working with structured copper and fiber cable connections with strong troubleshooting skills
· Experience with HW installation, baseline configuration, turn up coordination, level 1 incident response (Dell,HP,IBM,CISCO)
· Experience with HW installation, bare metal configuration, turn up coordination, level 1 incident response for traditional and blade servers
· Experience in Operating system installation and maintenance (Windows 2003/2008)
· Experience with installation coordination, turn up and level 1 incident response of EMC storage
· Experience in working with console switches Raritan or similar products
· Experience with troubleshooting Telco circuits and coordination with service providers
· Experience in Tape management and coordination for moving to offsite
· Maintain and track inventory of equipments installed and spares available in DC
· Good understanding of Data Center power/cooling concepts
· Coordinate with offshore/remote teams and vendor for installations and breakfix
· Willingness to work flexibility on any shift in support and oncall support as required
· This position will be required to work a combination of days / nights / weekends
