Job Title: Sr. Web Services, ASP.Net Developer
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: long-term contract
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (this list may not include all of the duties assigned)
Specifically we prefer:
* Experience developing data driven web applications in ASP.net (MVC 3), WCF (SOAP) and using WPF (MVVM).
* Expert-level knowledge and experience building RESTful APIs.
* Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software development principles
* Strong understanding of web-based architecture (web servers, load balancing, caching, databases, replication, etc.)
* Mastery of databases (SQL Server)
* Mastery of search engines (Solr)
* Experience with JavaScript and other web technologies (XHTML, CSS, Ajax, Json, etc.)
* Understanding of version control techniques (Git, Subversion, TFS 2010)
* Test-driven development (TDD) and creating unit tests
* Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development
* Experience meeting SLA objectives
* Expert tuning of services and using caching technologies
* Familiar with Web APIs like Amazon EC2, Salesforce, Google, and Bing.
* Familiar with SOAP APIs

 

The position also requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

 

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
A strong candidate will have 5+ years of professional web development, a proven track record developing public-facing websites, and a general passion for web-development.

 

Education:
* Bachelor*s Degree

 

Experience:
* 5+ years of professional web development
Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or transfer.
