Please see these consulting roles I have currently. As you send me candidates for each position I will let you know how much each one of them pay. Most will be $600-650 a day on C2C. Most of these positions as well are in NY (and the rest in Jersey City).

1st Role

Experience Required – 10+ years

Technical :

Server Side –

Java 6 - JUnit, JPA, JMS, Spring (IoC), SQL (Oracle), Multithreading, Concurrency

EAI / EDA / SOA design patterns and principles, test driven development practices.

Main Function

The vacancy is to work with a number of different global development teams which are implementing strategic components across CCS in order to meet the demands of a modern investment bank. The project will involve building upon and enhancing the common framework for this architecture, process re-engineering and the implementation of new Event Processors adhering to best practises such as:

-Event Driven, loosely coupled component based architecture.

-Data Caching to minimise database access and maximise throughput.

-Workflow and Real-time Instrumentation/BAM.

Throughout the various phases of delivery the new architecture will be required to interface with existing systems until such point as all the functionality has been migrated across to a shared platform.

Main Duties

We are looking for a senior Java developer and technical lead with proven expertise in software design / architecture for real time, performance focused systems.

As well as being responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the architecture framework, the candidate will be involved in implementing new strategic components as well as analysis, documentation and streamlining of the existing applications process flows. This will be facilitated by a Test-Driven Development approach.

Person Requirements

A minimum of 7 years of experience in design, development and performance tuning of enterprise wide applications in core Java, J2EE environment and Web-Logic environment is essential. Experience in server side core Java is required.

Required: Core Java, Swing, J2EE, Multithreading, XML, TIBCO, WebLogic, Unix/Linux, relational database (Sql Server), Eclipse. Experience in building financial/trading applications. Good communications skills and ability to work in fast paced environment.

Good to have: Knowledge of Commodities, Frameworks (Hibernate/Spring), caching frameworks (Memcached, EhCache …)

Role 3

Main Function

The Municipal Technology group is looking for an experienced java developer to design and develop deal-structuring, reporting and trade support platforms with external connectivity to financial industry clients using proprietary protocols and industry standard protocols.

The primary responsibilities of the role are:

To meet the strategic goals set by the business and technology by developing web-based and batch-oriented tools

Leverage solid Java and Oracle PL/SQL knowledge to address key global requirements

Work with Level 1 support and other development teams on Muni software stack

The candidate should possess:

Strong application development and design experience using Java, J2EE & messaging software

Basic understanding of financial industry and business processing

Experience working with distributed development teams with ability to work closely with local and global teams (New York, Kiev and Prague)

Self starter, highly motivated individual, team player who can take a problem from initial stages through tactical and strategic solutions with minimal guidance (conceptual thinker)

High degree of technical knowledge paired with a good sense of practicality

Have good verbal and written communication skills

Main Duties

As part of a high performance team, the candidate must be flexible in handling several work items at the same time and managing changing requirements. Working closely with colleagues in New York, Prague and Kiev, the candidate will ensure the best solution is delivered in a timely fashion by sharing components and experience.

Tasks will include:

Development, testing, merging, configuring, release and subsequent 2nd line support. Significant attention to tracking multiple work items over both short and long development cycles.
Require very good knowledge of Java, Oracle SQL and database objects. Should able to prove hands-on system information to enhance performance / query optimisation.

Will work in a large global team with source code in multiple branches of source control system (Perforce) and should be able to merge required functionality develoved by peers in other regions.

Build and test the functionality to be deployed to production coordinating the signoff from users.

Learning the existing platforms in great depth as well gain increased understanding of business.

Role 4

Main Function

JAVA Senior Developer position is available in Jersey City to be part of the team to develop a new Barclays Capital Prime Services Clearance Custody and Settlement IT (CCS IT) Data Warehouse.

This role will focus on several streams of work within our strategic data warehouse imitative. The JAVA Team lead will manage a team of Senior JAVA Developers both in the US and Offshore. The JAVA team will focus on designing and building a real-time interface to our Data Warehouse environment as well as building out a messaging, error handling and reporting interfaces within our Securities Strategic Framework.

Main Duties

1. Must of previously design and implemented system frameworks

2. Work with Messaging platform to develop a Real-Time feed to our ETL and Data Warehouse Environments.

3. Develop error handling routine, processes and programs.

4. Construct reconciliation routines with source systems and financial systems.

5. Develop real-time feeds to our front-end reporting portal.

Person Requirements

· Advanced Computer Science or MIS Degree

· 7 + years hands-on J2EE and Web Sphere development experience

· 5+ years of experience with Oracle Data base and SQL

· 5 + years experience in Financial Services industry.

Role 6

Department Overview

Sales Technology is responsible for building and delivering execution, pricing, research and analytics systems to external clients, sales and trading. The Investor Solutions team is focused on building an eCommerce online platform for structured investment products across multiple asset classes.

Main Function

Web developer on the Investor Solutions IT team working on a suite of applications - a combination of web based, core Java applications as well as Oracle PL/SQL scripting. Developer will be primarily focused on web based development, with emphasis on enhancing / rebuilding web portals targeted at institutional as well as retail investors.

The functions of the web portals include:

Product Catalogue - online platform for bankers to browse for product information, performance analysis etc
Historical charting / performance of products
Provide live pricing for click-and-trade execution

Main Duties

The role would require the developer to be involved in all aspects of software delivery ; including analysis, design, development, deployment and production support(as necessary).

System development:

Develop web based GUI using Javascript (Ext JS), HTML, CSS
Integrate web presentation with Java (JSP, Servlet, Spring MVC)
Developing server side java code to implement the business logic required
Develop Oracle SQL

Communication:

Able to participate in a culture of knowledge sharing

Main Function

The Credit team is looking to hire an experienced developer in order to expand its' business coverage. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on development experience for server-side components for business-facing applications (such as trading systems), preferably in the Fixed Income space. The system is a rich gui C# application with mostly Java server side.
