Scope of Work
The contract will be time boxed to no more than 11 months starting at the beginning of November. The roles and work assigned to a specific consultant will be based on their level of expertise in various roles including...
1. DW Solution Architect – Holistic data warehouse architecture design
2. DW Business Analyst – Requirements analysis and documentation
3. DW Data Analyst – Source to target business rule mapping, Data profiling
4. ETL Lead/Development – SSIS
5. SqlServer Application DBA – SqlServer database design, build and tuning
Above roles may be filled by one or multiple consultants depending on qualifications and needs throughout the project.
The basic objectives are:
· Determine data deliverable scope requirements
· Translate a logical model into a physical model and build related database structures in SqlServer 2008R2
· Design and build data movement that enforces business rules and meets the needs of business users while satisfying best practices of Client technical architects
· Work with data modeler, report developers and business analysts to meet information requirements
· Document data movement architecture
