Need Sr. Build Engineer

 

Location: San Jose, CA

 

Duration: 6 + Months

 

Skills:

 

• 5 -7 years' experience working as a Bulid Engineer in a build, release and tools environment

•           Experience with C, C++ and Java development projects.

•           Expert knowledge of build, release and configuration management practices, including branch-based development and patch-oriented work flows

•           Expertise with a variety of build, release and management packages and processes such as Perforce, Git, SVN, Hudson, and Cruise Control.

•           Experience with build automation tools (Jenkins/Hudson, BuildBot, Parabuild, CruiseControl)

•           Experience with most or all of the following tools (or equivalents): Atlassian Tools (Fisheye, Jira, Crucible, Confluence) and VMWare.

•           Proficient with Linux and BSD system administration

•           Strong scripting and automation skills including shell and one or more of Perl, Python, bash, PHP, or a similar language

•           Experience with building or generating installers for MS Windows and/or Linux.

•           Working knowledge of high level software development facilities/utilities: source code management, bug tracking, virtual machine environments.
