Job Description:

 Understanding of Oracle RDBMS.

Table/Index Physical storage attributes.

Data types

Handling the large objects.

Table/Index partitioning.

Statistics and optimizer costs.

 

Good PL/SQL programming skills.

debug and optimize performance of PL/SQL code.

Aggregate/window functions and commonly used OLAP functions.

Exception handling

 

Query tuning and optimization.

Understand Explain plan.

tkprof and trace utility.

 

Oracle data loading and unloading tools.

sqlloader, data pump and import and export tools.

Experience in writing perl/shell script and use of oracle drivers (jdbc,oci).
