Skills Required:
Primary Skills: At least 6+ years' experience in IBM DataStage Enterprise Edition 8.5 (Server and Parallel Jobs), Oracle 8.x/9.x/10G, and SQL Server.
Additional Skills: UNIX Shell scripting, Autosys and Data Modeling.
Job Description:
This position is for ETL developer role in AIG Investments. The candidate should have strong knowledge in design, development, testing and implementing ETL jobs (both server and parallel) in IBM DataStage Enterprise Edition 8.5. Candidate should have
• Extensive experience in IBM Datastage middleware development.
• IBM Datastage -SAP Pack experience is an added advantage
• IBM Datastage – project specific configuration, packaging and deployment experience.
• Hands on experience with IBM DS custom routine
• Experience in IBM Datastage 8.5 is an added advantage
• SQL Server, Oracle and other database experience
• Good Analytical and problem solving skill
• Prior experience in data conversion and interface development
• Basic accounting knowledge is an added advantage
• Good team player is a must
• Understanding of ETL processes and Best Practices thereof.
• Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience with IBM DataStage Server and Parallel Jobs
• Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP, MQ plug-ins and XML packages in DataStage.
• Understanding of change management processes
• Understanding of Production Support (PS) processes
• Good and / or diverse understanding of IT infrastructure and other technologies
• Ability to deal with business users
• Strong communication skills
