Location:-Somerset,NJ

Rate:-60-65/hr On C2C.

Client has indicated that they are focusing on the following:

 

• Expertise on Visual Studio 2010, .NET 4 and MVC 3

• Expertise in using Domain/Entity Models and OR/M tools such a NHibernate or Microsoft Entity Framework

• Exposure to Windows Communication Foundation and Enterprise Libraries is desirable

DESCRIPTION:
The candidate will be working on a team that will be part of the USB IT team working on a rewrite of a large .NET application.

Description:
• Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.
• Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
• Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large scale system.
• Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
• Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
• Provides technical support to technical vendor resources
• Candidate will follow the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and MetLife's change management process.
• The ideal candidate will need to have strong technical, analytical and communication skills.
• Ideal candidate will also have the ability to analyze problems and drive business and IT teams to resolution.
• Mentor more junior staff.
• Reviews work products from team and vendor consultants.
• May act as program/technical lead on multi-project activities.
• Provides technical & analytical support and guidance to project team members.

Requirements:
• 8+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of .NET Development experience.
• 2+ years of Oracle experience.
• Expertise on Visual Studio 2010, .NET 4 and MVC 3
• Expertise in using Domain/Entity Models and OR/M tools such a NHibernate or Microsoft Entity Framework
• Exposure to Windows Communication Foundation and Enterprise Libraries is desirable
• Must be proficient in SDLC processes
• Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including MS Project and Visio tools.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with IT and business individuals and teams at all organizational levels.
• Must be a self-directed and highly motivated with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be a good team player
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills along with relationship building abilities
• Financial Services Industry Experience is a major plus.
• Microsoft Certification is a plus.
• Previous experience or knowledge of Metlife businesses / processes is a plus
