SSRS Report Developer/Design Specialist

 

 

Location: NY

Duration:  Through June 2012

 

We are looking for someone with design and build experience with either the 2005 or 2008 version (preferably 2008). There is a 2010 version out but we are not going to use because it’s not stable. They should have expertise in designing solutions that use the SSRS gateway to interface between SSRS and a web front end (ideally flex). They should have expertise with developing using SSRS gateway (service calls to and from ssrs). They need to have experience in writing stored procedures and creating complex SSRS reports. They should have good communication skills. They should be comfortable mentoring others as my team is just coming up to speed with SSRS. We would want them to help us create/document best practices for design and coding.  Ideally they would also know OBI but that’s not critical.

 

 

Oracle DBA

 

NY

Duration:  Through end of May 2012

 

Minimum 5 years as an Oracle DBA, with at least 1 year of Oracle 11g Production experience
* Min 2 years working with Oracle RAC
* Min 2 years experience with Red Hat Linux OS
* Min 1 year working with Oracle ASM, Data Guard
* Excellent database, SQL and PL/SQL tuning skills required
* Experience with Oracle Golden Gate and/or  Exadata not required, but would be a plus.  These positions are contract for now but there exists the possibility that they could convert at some point if they get headcount but contract only is the commitment for now.  These will be focused on production and development. 

 

 

 

SQL Server DBA

NY

Duration:  Through end of May 2012

 

Require a solid SQL Server Database administrator to support both development activities. 

Minimum 3 years DBA experience with SQL Server 2008.  Could consider 2005.  Experience with backup and restore activities.  Proficiency across the Microsoft OS technologies. Experience tuning SSIS, SSRS, and TSQL.  Experience with mirroring and replication are a big plus.
