Job Title:Sr Java Developer

Location:Lexington, KY

Duration:1 year contract (multi year extensions possible)

Senior Java developer to deliver world-class enterprise applications.  A strong background in Object Oriented analysis and design is required. Experience with network programming, including Web Services, is required. . Experience with database design and development is required. Some experience with network printer communication and protocols such as SNMP is a huge plus. Familiarity with Agile programming processes and methodologies such as Scrum is a plus. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. A desire to innovate and solve complex technical problems is key, as well as a motivation to learn new technologies and apply them to client's software offerings. Willingness to mentor more junior team members is a must. A demonstrated background in focusing on software quality and usability is highly desired. Excellent oral and communication skills are required. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field

• 5+ years of Java development experience

• 3+ years experience with Hibernate

• 3+ years of experience with Spring

• OO analysis/design (required) 

• Database design & development (required) 

• Network programming (required) 

• Web Services (desired) 

• SNMP (desired) 

• Printer communication experience (desired) 

• Agile development processes (desired)
