The Testing staff is responsible for developing and executing the integration and user acceptance test plans to ensure that the delivered solution meets project requirements and handles data in a predictable, error-free fashion. Testing staff will often have played different roles earlier in the project.
Key activities include:
• Developing an integrating test plan to ensure end-to-end testing.
• Developing a user acceptance test plan to ensure adequate coverage of end user business requirements.
• Writing test scripts or ensuring that scripts are written by the appropriate developers.
• Executing test plans.
• Tracking and resolving issues identified in testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
The testing staff shall have experience with testing complex enterprise software solutions. These skills should include:
• Functional understanding of the relevant domain (underwriting, claims, etc.) Comfort with technology.
• Experience tracking and resolving issues encountered in testing Experience working as a part of an Agile development team. Ability to work from functional specifications to write test plans.
• Software test experience in developing test strategies, test cases and creating scripts.
• Testing experience in a large scale relational database environment Experience in Mercury Tools: QuickTest Pro and/or WinRunner, TestDirector and/or QualityCenter, or similar tools for GUI automation testing and test management.
PREFERRED:
• Property and Casualty Insurance testing experience strongly preferred.
• Guidewire experience.
• Oracle Insbridge experience.
