JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Job Title    : BO Admin

Location    : San Jose, CA

Duration    : 12+ months

 

·         At least 2 years experience in Business Objects Data Services administration on unix including architecture, installation/upgrade, configuration and maintenance, preferably in clustered environment

·         At least 5 years experience on unix systems including Linux.   Very comfortable with shell and ideally perl scripting

·         At least 3 years experience with Tomcat, Oracle

·         At least 1 years experience with Java

·         Must be skilled at diagnosing and trouble-shooting technical issues on their own

·         Preferred : Experience with ETL architecture, extraction and load to/from SAP, Teradata and Oracle particularly bulk load utilities, XML, webservices

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentations, documentation and knowledge transfer.  

·         Organized and a self-starter, able to understand and carry out task requirements to completion.  

·         Must be able to work well with other teams and be able to manage offsite resources
