· Description:

· Summary:
· The .Net Application developer is responsible for software development as a member of a project team. He/she works closely with subject matter experts, business analysts, other developers, and management to design, develop, and test software solutions to business problems. He/she contributes in all phases of the application development life-cycle including analysis, design, coding, documentation, testing, implementation, and training for web enabled applications.
· Responsibilities:
· Develop technical specifications for software from business requirements
· Develop reliable estimates based on functional requirements and development experience
· Develop code, including unit tests, appropriately employing object-oriented design methods and patterns and following industry and company standards
· Work with diverse teams including business analysts, technical specialists, and business users, both on-site and remote, in order to deliver efficient and timely solutions
· Work with other team members to support testing, debugging, and release of software applications
· Support production applications, providing responsive and effective customer support
· Work collaboratively within project teams, while also assuming individual responsibility for assigned tasks
· Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
· Minimum 7 years experience in software development
· Minimum 5 years experience in C# and ASP.NET
· Minimum 5 years experience with SQL Server
· Experience in designing and developing object-oriented, n-tiered applications
· Experience with Visual Studio 2008 or later, including associated technologies such as WCF
· Services, Windows Services, and LINQ
· Experience with Web Ul technologies such as CSS, AJAX, and Javascript
· Experience developing effective unit tests
· Experience with Agile Methodology a plus
· Familiarity with the financial industry a plus
· Excellent time management, problem solving, and debugging skills
· Able to stay motivated and productive in fast-paced and dynamic environment
· Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Some travel may be required
