Need C# .Net Developer, Vancouver, WA

My name is Alex, and I am a Recruiting Manager, Talent Acquisition for KTek Resourcing. K-Tek Resourcing, Inc. is an innovative force in the IT Staffing Industry. Based in Houston, TX. We are Tier one vendors to major pharmaceutical/financial companies and other fortune clients and for same we are searching forward to a C# .Net Developer for a position with client in Vancouver, WA. 

Short Project Description: The project – Next Generation Tax System (NGTS) – is the initiative from Washington State Employment Security Department (ESD) to implement the TAX side of Unemployment Insurance (UI) system. The system will manage the records for all employers of the state of Washington, process Tax and Wage reports and assist the ESD staff to be able to collect the taxes and audit the information more effectively.

Consultant Role/Responsibilities or Tasks on Project:

Application Developer II (C#.NET)

We have a need to add 2 Application Developer II (C#.NET) positions to the project as soon as possible.

 

Job Description:

 

Skills Required(provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc):

This person will have the following skills:

          A technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of related experience

2-3 years of hands-on .Net 3.5 (ASP.NET, C#) development in an n-tier, new development environment required.

Experience with WCF (Windows Communications Foundation) for middle tier (business layer) development is required.

Experience with the MVP (Model-View-Presenter) pattern is helpful.

Experience working from specification documents such as use cases is required.

Hands-on working experience (not just knowledge of) with Object-Relational-Mapping (ORM) such as nHibernate, LINQ to SQL, etc. is strongly desired.

Hands-on working experience with SQL – query development for data access layer – is also strongly desired.

 

Candidates must have full life-cycle and full application development experience – no GUI specialist, no query developer. No candidate who has worked solely from a queue of tickets.

 

All candidates are expected to provide an answer to the following test question:

 

  • "Programming" test.

Given a list, array, of integers, find the index of the two consecutive numbers which have the largest sum.

For example, if the array is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the answer is 4, as 4+5 = 9.
