I need a Business Analyst who knows channel operations and will work with the business on requirements for IT.
· Participates in formal sessions and interviews to gather, translate, and document business and system requirements to support transforming requirements into effective technology solutions
· Provides functional feasibility assessment to the business partners related to emerging initiatives.
· Provides high-level business process and technical overviews and insight where appropriate.
· Maintains continuity between business team and IS organization throughout complete system development life cycle.
· Serves as primary contact between technology and business end-users in understanding the specific business requirements, criticality and prioritization of business capability.
· Identifies, assesses, and documents business requirements, recommending business priorities and advising business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions.
· Provides relevant test scenarios for the testing team; works with test team to develop system integration test scripts and ensures the testing results correspond to the business expectations.
· Conducts research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible.
· Ability to read and understand moderate complex test cases enough to execute these cases with accuracy and to verify and document results of tests
· Gathering functional and non-functional requirements
· Understand the business processes, business requirements, and business priorities and own part or all of project details
· Work with internal/external customers and business owners to define and document the functional requirements for enhancements to the system
· Manage scope of business requirements
· Work with development and QA to ensure all defects and priorities are set and managed as part of the release cycle
· The ability to work individually and as a member of a team with potentially tight time frames.
· A strong work ethic, strong problem solving skills, ability to multitask, and solid organizational and communication skills.
