Position: .Net Developer with ANSI

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: 3 months

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* report to the Director and work extensively with both technical and program staff;
* upgrade application to current .Net version, continue maintenance and support of system and implement minor enhancements;
* setup .Net development environments, including integration;
* troubleshoot server and coding issues interacting with database, server and network;
* interface with users to define requirements, analyze impact to related systems and design modification and documents;
* estimate time and resources needed to carry out changes and document in SDLC and QC;
* analyze impact of enterprise software upgrades, hardware upgrades and updates;
* convert SQL Server to Oracle;
* develop software development and system documentation artifacts;
* assist System Administrators with database backup/recovery, code table management, security maintenance, and user account management on routine basis;
* develop and maintain all software and system components, including tasks related to application and data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, production infrastructure implementation, administration, maintenance, design and development of any ETL processes, testing, debugging and implementation.

The ideal candidate will possess:
-experience coding in ANSI Standard SQL;
-experience interpreting physical database models and understanding relational database concepts such as indexes, primary and foreign keys, and constraints using Oracle and MS SQL Server;
-experience developing in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript;
-experience with MS Visual Studio .NET, VB.NET, Oracle 9i or later;
-experience with MS SQL Server 2000 stored procedures, MS IIS administration;
-experience MS SQL Server DBA, .NET Web Form with server side controls programming;
-experience in .NET Remoting Service design and development;
* experience developing for Health Provider Network;
* experience creating Oracle PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures, OOD concepts and UML;
* experience preparing documentation (specifications, test plans, analysis);
* Bachelor's degree.
