Title: SOA Tester

Number of Positions:  1

Target Start Date: ASAP

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Work status: Contract

**All candidates must have strong web services testing experience, 3+ years (WDSL, LISA ITKO, SOAP UI, QTP)**

 

 

Job Description:

This tester will provide support in developing SOA/integration interface test plans and estimates, automated test script development, executing service test scripts, reporting/tracking defects.  

 

Essential Job Functions:

Participate in the web application technical design process with the Application Architects on Internet and eCommerce  related development projects.

Test web services using ITKO Lisa automated scripts.

Test web services using SDLC best practices.

Participate in all phases of web services system testing.

 

Requirements:

·         Strong QA Experience – 3 years

·         SOA testing, interface testing experience – 2-3 years

·         Direct Development Background – 2 years

·         Knowledge of SOA test automation framework, process, strategy, approach – 2-3 years

·         Designing and writing automated test scripts using ITKO Lisa, SOAPUI or similar web services test tools

·         Specialized in testing and validating XML, XSD, XPath Syntax, Web Services, MQ, Topics, REST, HTTP, SOAP Messaging, etc -  2 years

·         Should have good knowledge in any programming languages (Java experience is a plus)

·         SQL experience is a must -  2 years

·         Tools experience – Parasoft SOA, SOAP UI,(ITKO LISA), QC, XML Spy, QTP, Load Runner, Silk Test., - 2 years

 

Bonus Skills:

·         Functional testing experience. – 2 years

·         Load testing experience is a plus. – 2 years

·         High Analytical, Decision Making, Problem Solving, Communication & Learning Skills, Team Player – 2 years

·         SOA QA Technical Lead is a plus – 2 years

·         Good Knowledge on Functional Test Automation Framework, Process, Strategy & Approach -  2 years
